Accessibility and the Limits of the Land

We want to speak plainly: the lands where the Wild Therapy training happens are not accessible to most wheelchair users and others with mobility-related access needs.

This is not because we don’t care.
It is because these spaces are held in wilder terrain, with uneven fields, forest paths, and basic outdoor facilities, and they have not (yet) been shaped to welcome all bodies. We name this not as a barrier you must overcome, but as a truth we must hold.

We acknowledge that this means some will be excluded from this form of the work, and we feel the weight of that. You deserve access to Earth-connected, relational training spaces, and we hold the hope that in time, we can co-create versions of this work that are more accessible, in different places, in different ways.

If you’re unsure if the spaces would work for you, or you want to share your experience, please reach out. We’re here for the conversation—not just the logistics
